Julie grew up in a small town in Michigan, and her interest in travel started when she was a little girl and a missionary visited. Her stories fascinated Julie, but she never thought she would have the opportunity to travel the world. She visited Disney once when she was 9 and particularly loved Epcot and all the different countries represented there. It is still her favorite part of Disney.
Julie’s dreams of travel started to come true when her husband was traveling for work. She was able to tag along while he worked and play tourist. They traveled to the beautiful coast of California, spending time in San Francisco, Sausilito, Carmel, and even rode the Wine Train though Napa Valley. She’s been to New York City, Washington DC, and as far away as London, England during that time. She’s also had the opportunity to spend a significant amount of time in Cape Town, South Africa, Spain, Paris, St. Thomas, Jamaica, and Mexico. Julie loves to experience the different cultures of the of the world and be immersed in the local culture and experiences.
Her other love has always been helping brides plan their weddings. She started in a bridal shop at 17, helping Brides find their perfect wedding look. Over the years, she has helped brides with everything from choosing wedding day attire to making wedding cakes to planning and directing their weddings.
Julie now has the opportunity to marry the love of travel and the romance of weddings to help her clients plan their dream destination wedding, retie-the-knot ceremonies, honeymoons and romantic getaways! She would love to help you plan your Destination Wedding too!
