DISNEY ACCOUNT SETUP + PARK RESERVATIONS

Congratulations on booking your Disney World Vacation!!⭐️
Your next step will be link your reservation to your My Disney Experience account and book your park reservations.
To enter a theme park, you will need a park reservation and valid admission for that park—for EACH day you’d like to visit.* Park reservation availability changes, so it is essential that you book your reservations ASAP.
*UPDATE: Starting with visits on January 9, 2024, theme park reservations will no longer be required for date-based tickets.
Please follow the steps below, but feel free to call your Sojourney Travel advisor if you need help.
1. Create an account or Sign In to StartYourDisneyExperience.com
This link will take you to the My Disney Experience website. Sign in using your Disney Account or create one.
2. Create your Profile
Start by personalizing your profile with your favorite Disney Character and giving a few details.
3. Create Your Family & Friends List
Once you're signed into your Disney account, navigate to My Disney Experience → My Plans. Look for this row of icons on the page and hover over the Family & Friends icon. Add the Guests in your travel group so you can make and share plans together.
4. Link your reservation
Next, hover over the Resort Hotel icon. Click on Link a Reservation and enter your confirmation number found on the confirmation sent to you by your Sojourney Travel advisor.
Please note: You will need to match up the names of everyone on this reservation. If you didn’t create a travel party in step 3, you will have to enter in names and ages here, then match up. If you need to make any modifications, please ask for help.
5. Make your Theme Park Reservation in the Disney Park Pass System - if required.
Choose the date and Theme Park that you would like to visit from the available reservations in the Disney Park Pass system via My Disney Experience. Please note that dates and Theme Park selections are limited and subject to availability. Remember to make a Theme Park Reservation for each day you wish to visit a park.
6. Review and Confirm Your Plans
Carefully review and confirm your selected park and date. Once confirmed, your reservation will appear in My Plans on the My Disney Experience website.Don’t have access to a computer? Get the Free Mobile App. You can do the same thing with it. Download the App
Lastly, you can order MagicBands for your trip from within your My Disney Experience account too. A new version of MagicBands will be released sometime this year, although they haven’t said exactly when. I am expecting the new bands to cost more because they have more features. I do recommend a MagicBand because they are convenient and fun to use, but you do not required to purchase one. You can use MagicMobile or get a Key to the World card at check-in instead. If you have bands from a previous trip, they will still work. Let your advisor know so that they can confirm that the bands are still active in the system.
