Tell us a bit about yourself. Why did you become a travel advisor?
I became a travel advisor because I LOVE the planning process, the research, and the anticipation of an upcoming trip. I can only take so many trips myself, so this allows me to get excited for my clients and their travels!
What do you enjoy most about being a travel advisor?
What I enjoy the most about being a travel advisor is learning about new destinations and things I've never heard of before. It has opened my eyes to so many amazing parts of the world that I wasn't previously interested in.
What destinations do you specialize in, and what draws you to those particular places?
I specialize in Mexico, Bermuda and the Caribbean. I love everything about the ocean, beach, and sunny warm weather.
Is there a moment from your travels that has impacted the way you approach travel advising?
Trying new things (foods, excursions, resorts) in my own travels has impacted the way that I approach travel advising by recommending new experiences to my clients, you never know what they might say yes to!
What advice would you give to travelers looking to plan their next vacation?
Advice that I would give travelers looking to plan their next vacation is to book early! Booking early ensures you will have the best availability for popular resorts and attractions and more favorable pricing.
What do you enjoy most about working with clients to plan their trips?
The thing I enjoy most about working with clients is hearing their excitement for their trip and then receiving pictures after travel. I love seeing my clients have a great time.
What destinations or experiences are on your personal travel bucket list?
Some destinations on my personal travel bucket list are staying in an overwater bungalow in the Maldives, visiting some Christmas markets in Europe, and an African safari!
What is a fun fact about you that your clients may not know?
A fun fact that my clients may not know is that I played college softball in Sioux Falls, South Dakota! #GoCoo
