Growing up as a child in Ohio, some of Karen’s favorite childhood memories include family trips to Mexico, Hawaii and Florida. Ask her about the tiger on the yacht...that is a story! Traveling as a family was always full of laughter and memories that are irreplaceable. It's safe to say that her parents were the cultivators of her love of travel.

Karen’s family spent every summer on the beaches of Florida and eventually moved full time to the Sunshine State. From the beaches in Panama to the beaches in The Keys, she has dipped her toes in most of the beaches in Florida. It was Florida where she met her husband, and they started the Disney bug with their boys from birth. First haircuts were at Disney, first trick or treating was at Disney, lots of firsts for their family happened in Florida but Florida was not their forever home, the mountains of Georgia were calling them. 11 years ago, they made it to the Appalachian Mountains and this is where their hearts finally found home.

Karen and her husband love to travel. From spur-of-the-moment weekend getaways to extravagant trips with the entire family, they want to share their love for new places with their children. And they want to share it with you too! Their family trips created such wonderful memories and it has instilled her desire to help others create traveling memories with their family. She is excited to help you see the world!
