Growing up in a small rural town in Western North Carolina, Michele saw beauty everyday in the surrounding mountains, lakes, and streams. In her early adolescent years her father purchased property and a cabin in Gunnison, Colorado, where he enjoyed taking them to visit, while her mother enjoyed taking them to the coastal towns and cities. She experienced many places in the United States during these years which sparked her desire for travel and adventure.

Raising two children as a single mother, Michele put herself through college to pursue a bachelor's degree in early childhood education. While not an easy task, this prepared her to become goal and detail oriented as well as efficient in planning, organization and budgeting. During these years, Michele took her children on numerous getaways, exposing them to her love for travel. They went to New York City, The Grand Canyon, The Smokey Mountains in Tennessee, cities and coastal beach towns.

After some time and many prayers, God blessed Michele with her husband Rob, who is also her best friend and travel partner. They have four grown children, one precious granddaughter, and two goldendoodles who think they are human. Both are retired educators and have currently traveled to 32 of the U.S. National Parks and 42 states, their most recent state being Alaska. Not only have they traveled in the US, they have also visited an all-inclusive resort in Mexico on their honeymoon and returned a few years later on a cruise.

Michele’s love for travel and helping others is what inspired her to seek becoming a travel advisor. Being a former educator, she realizes the importance of planning a trip that meets the needs and desires of her clients.
