How to modify a genie+ Reservation

Want to change the time of your Genie+ Lightning Lane? Move it back, maybe move it up?!! This is how you do it.
Go to My Day and tap the three dots on the reservation, then tap Modify Plan.
You can change the time of the reservation, or change it to a different attraction, or both.
This can be a very helpful tip because modifying a reservation does not restart the timer on when you can book again, whereas cancelling does. With this method, you can keep checking to see if you can find a better time without penalty.
Just checkout the screenshots below. I was able to move my Tower of Terror reservation up on the very first try!
This can be helpful at anytime during the day, but it can be particularly important for your first selection of the day. Most people select a high demand attraction for their 7am selection and get a return time that causes the 120 minute rule to kick in. If you can get a return time that beats them to the second selection a day, you will have jump on everyone that is stuck waiting the 120 minutes! So don’t settle for a late return time. Keep checking!
