My Sojourney Story: Tiffiney Love

Tell us a bit about yourself. Why did you become a travel advisor?  

I became a travel advisor because I have extensive experience in travel and felt like I could offer my knowledge to help others enjoy the world. Traveling changed my life as a 20 year old. Being an agent was the perfect fit for my desire to help others travel in a way that would have a lasting impact on their life too! 

What do you enjoy most about being a travel advisor?  

My favorite part of being a travel advisor is hands down watching others enjoy each other, God’s creation and other cultures! From iconic landmarks to unusual foods, creating memories that form special bonds forever. 

What destinations do you specialize in, and what draws you to those particular places?  

I specialize in luxury adventures! It’s the trip that has a mix of “you’re taken care of” and “off the beaten path.” It’s typically an area the client has never experienced before that is rich in culture, exclusivity and the possibilities of exploration. 

Is there a moment from your travels that has impacted the way you approach travel advising? 

I was most impacted when I flew halfway across the world, literally, as a college student dissatisfied with the path of my college education. That adventure impacted me in many ways, one in understanding that nothing is impossible. There are risks for some travel and I’ve been in those situations as well. However, with no risk, no reward. If I have a client longing for an experience or destination, I’ll do everything I can to make it happen. 

What advice would you give to travelers looking to plan their next vacation?  

My best advice is, save up! Travel is probably more expensive than you think. Save money by booking early and using a travel agent for extra perks, packaged deals, and more!

What do you enjoy most about working with clients to plan their trips?  

I enjoy most finding exactly what my client is looking for and hitting the budget target… oh, and of course the debriefs after of the memories they made abroad! 

Can you share a memorable travel experience or a unique destination that left a lasting impression on you?

A unique destination that made a lasting impression on me was definitely China. It was so culturally unique and my first experience being immersed in a culture so different from my own. 

What destinations or experiences are on your personal travel bucket list?  

My personal bucket list includes Italy, Montenegro and a trip back to Croatia! 

What is a fun fact about you that your clients may not know?  

A fun fact about me that my clients may not know is that I was state high jump champion in high school and I love to paint.
