Trip Review: Riviera Maya by Stephanie J!

We booked a trip to Riviera Maya for our 10th anniversary, and it did not disappoint!

It started with our arrival at the very posh Unico Riviera Maya Resort. The atmosphere, design, staff and amenities were fantastic. This is a very trendy adults-only resort and they are most known for their craft cocktails and amazing location. Upon arrival we were handed a margarita and introduced to our host for our stay. From there we wasted no time getting massages at their well-appointed and impressive spa.

Day 2 consisted of a relaxing day at the beach. The water was clear and we even had a server bringing us drinks & lunch oceanside. We took a walk down the private and uncrowded beach to see a baby sea turtle making his way to the ocean! 

Unico offers several unique restaurants that were all delicious. (Mexican, Japanese, Italian, coffee shop and steak/seafood) and our stay also included 24/7 room service, which was awesome!

Day 3 we did excursion called “Tulum & Cenote Express” this was a perfect tour for us. We had private tour guide for Mayan Ruins, shopping in Tulum & swam in a beautiful cenote. 

Day 4 (our anniversary) we booked a dinner excursion called “Travelers Table”. This experience was a short drive to Play del Carmen to a private slice of paradise! The brochure did not prepare us for this awesome experience. We had a group of 12 with a 5 course menu on a private beach by a master chef! Very unexpected love for this one. Both excursions we picked were close by, but I would check travel time before going other places.

We couldn’t dream of a better vacation!!!
