Darlene was born and raised in South Florida. As a child, she frequented various beaches and spent most of her summers either in Key West, Sanibel Island or her local stomping ground…Hollywood Beach. As she grew older, she traded in her snorkeling mask for scuba gear and the ocean depths became her new playground. As a Floridian, she enjoyed Disney World, Sea World, Busch Gardens and all the other wonderful theme parks Central Florida has to offer. Darlene attended Broward College and became a corporate paralegal.

Fast forward 10 years, she moved to Georgia and married her high school sweetheart. Steve and Darlene have three wonderful children together. As their children grew, so did their desire for travel. While organizing her own family vacations, Darlene discovered her love for travel planning, especially international travel since she finds various cultures and customs fascinating.
