Janis grew up in one of the South’s most charming and historic cities—Savannah, Georgia. As a child, her home was a revolving door of visitors eager to experience the magic of her beloved hometown. From a young age, Janis loved helping her mom host guests, plan itineraries, and find unique ways to show off the beauty of her city. That passion for hospitality and adventure has only grown stronger over time.
A true beach lover at heart, Janis finds joy in sailing the ocean, floating down rivers, and embracing every opportunity to explore God’s beautiful creation. She’s the self-proclaimed “cheesy tourist,” always on the lookout for the perfect photo op to capture unforgettable moments. One of her most cherished memories is a 10-day trip to Germany with her parents during her junior year of high school — a life-changing experience that left a lasting mark.
Janis went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Valdosta State University and married the love of her life in November 2000. Together, they’re raising four fun, fantastic children who share their love for adventure and making memories.
It was during her honeymoon in Maui and later a milestone 40th birthday trip to New York City that Janis felt the calling: she wanted to help others experience the same joy and wonder she had found through travel. Though she didn’t know exactly how or when it would happen, she waited for the right moment — and now that moment is here.
