How to Purchase Disney Genie+

You will need to purchase Genie+ from within the My Disney Experience app each day you would like to use the service. It is available for purchase beginning at 12 am on the day of your visit, but you cannot start booking Lightning Lanes until 7am. It is possible for it to sell out, but that has only happened a hand full of times. Let’s take a look at how to Purchase Disney Genie+ in the Disney app.
Step 1: Log into My Disney Experience. Log in to your My Disney Experience Account from within the mobile app. If your app isn’t up to date, you may have to do an update to your app in order to access the Genie features.
Step 2: Find the Purchase option in the app. You may find the option to purchase Genie+ on your Home Page and if you do, you can skip to step 5. If you do not see it on your Home Page, tap on the ☰ icon in the bottom right corner.
Step 3: Select "Rides Shows & Lightning Lane Entry"image unable to load
Step 4: Tap “Purchase for Today”
Step 5: A pop up screen will review the details of Disney Genie+. Just scroll to the bottom of this screen and click “Get Disney Genie+ Service”.
Step 6: Select the park where you plan to use Genie+, or select Multiple Parks if you have a Park Hopper Ticket and plan to use Genie+ in more than one park. The price you see may be different from the ones here because the price varies per park, per day.
Step 7: Confirm your party. Here you will select who you want to purchase Disney Genie+ Service for. It will pre-select some guests for you, but you can make changes by selecting or deselecting members of your party. If someone shows up as Not Eligible, that means that they do not have tickets linked and/or a Park Reservation for that day.
Step 8: Review Details
Confirm that the details are correct. If you need to make any changes, click Remove and/or Keep Shopping, reselect your desired items and then go back to the “Confirm Your Party” screen again. Tap "Continue to Checkout".
Step 9: Purchase
Confirm your email address and make the payment.
Now you are the proud owner of Disney's Genie+ Service! Return to your Tip Board where you can start making Genie+ Lightning Lane selections at 7 am. Enjoy skipping the lines! 🙌
