Trade Show Format & Availability

Trade show hours run Saturday (between 8am and 5pm) and Sunday (until approximately 12pm) - exact times to be confirmed, but plan for full day presence both days. Some flexibility is available if needed; let us know at registration.
Appointments are scheduled rather than open drop-in: we assign each advisor a specific time with your table, so you'll know in advance when your next one on one will be. Each appointment runs on a set, limited window - exact length depends on final supplier and advisor counts, so we'll confirm closer to event, but the conversation will need to be focused from the start rather than warming up as you go.
Our advisors span a wide range of experience with any given destination or product - some sell it regularly, some are newer to it, and some may not have sold or visited yet. Given the short window per appointment, having a clear, intentional plan ready in advance will help you make the most of each conversation. One plan for advisors who already know your product and another for advisors meeting it for the first time would be ideal.
What's provided:● 3ft square table for each trade show participant● Seating for you and the advisor
Feel free to bring items to decorate your space. Items such as:● table covers● swag● collateral● treats for the advisors
Space is limited. Leave the following items at home:● backdrops● easels

Presentation Session Participants:

Limited space. Registration required.
Please have your presentation on a thumb drive. Your session time is 20-30 minutes (dependent on package selection) and we appreciate your efforts to keep us on schedule.
Presentation participants automatically receive trade show space.

Booking your flight? Tentative Event schedule:

(Exact 2027 schedule to be confirmed closer to the event)
Saturday, February 20 — Full day on-site, roughly 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Check-in and breakfast start the morning
Trade show blocks, presentations, and breaks run throughout the day

Sunday, February 21 — Morning through mid-afternoon, roughly 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Structured around breakfast, trade show blocks, and presentations, wrapping up around noon.

For flight planning:
James Madison Event Center is approximately 63 miles from Atlanta airport
— though traffic can add significant time.
Please build in a buffer on both ends, arriving with room to spare and
booking your return flight with enough margin to account for delays.

Testimonials from Past Participants

“Wonderful experience with the whole Sojourney team. Felt connections and new opportunities arise through conversation. Loved the pace and the venue of the James Madison Inn. An excellent weekend overall!”

Emily Velasquez

“Sojourney Collective is a fantastic opportunity to connect with travel advisors and network with suppliers. The energy is high, the event is well organized, and it's a great opportunity for genuine converstaions.”

Tobie Beck

“Sojourney Travel Collective as always gets better and better each year. This year the space was amazing and the birthday celebration was added touch! Food was delicious all days. Travel Advisors are always engaged and responsive and take the information and implement it to make their goals. Thanks Lori and Team! Awesome job from your Administrative Team, Your Fabulous Logistics Team (the Teens of Sojourney Travel) Event Staff, and food vendors. Thanks for having Sandals and Beaches Resorts as a sponsor! I value our continued partnership!”

Lisa Blake

“Participating in the Sojourney event was an excellent opportunity to connect with a large number of travel advisors who were highly engaged, curious, and eager to learn more about new destinations and hotel partners.”

Tommaso Balducci

“SoJourney is a great experience for a supplier. It provides the opportunity to connect with travel advisors both one-on-one and in a presentation setting.

The 1:1 meetings are especially valuable, as they allow us to have meaningful conversations with advisors, uncover opportunities, and discuss how we can best support their business. The presentation time then gives us the chance to share product updates and highlight what’s new.

Lori, Amanda, and the entire team do a fantastic job — they are engaging, organized, and very detail-oriented, which makes the event run smoothly and creates a great environment for both advisors and suppliers.”

Katie Jessup

“I loved the Sojourney format with lots of time to connect with the advisors.”

Nancy

“Was wonderful getting the opportunity to meet all travel advisors in person. So much work now is done via email and remotely; developing personal relationships can get lost. Additionally, the trade show gave us the opportunity to spend dedicated time with each advisors to address their specific questions about booking Arch RoamRight and we received valuable feedback to share internally. Having the added time to address the entire group was great. We were able take the questions received at the trade show and review and address them with the entire team.”

Scott Walton

“This event has been one of the best I have ever attended. Without a doubt, I will wholeheartedly support your agency and advisors in the future.”

Ruel Campbelll

“Everything went well and loved the format of the show and the addition to the trade show. Great show to attend where you can meet one-on-one with the travel advisors to discuss what Greater Miami and Miami Beach has to offer.  Well organized and great networking event over two days.”

Carolyn Jones

“A pleasure to meet such an enthusiastic group of agents.”
